Capital A is a barbershop in Eugene, Oregon that blends modern minimalism with bold, memorable design cues. For the visual identity, I developed a minimal black-and-white aesthetic, which emphasizes clarity and versatility while giving the brand a timeless, high-contrast presence. The logo is a monogram of the C and A incorporating sharp, confident lines reflecting the client’s desire for something clean, bold and assertive. Illustrations were also created to further convey the brand’s tone, including an owl symbolizing solitude and quiet precision, echoing the careful, focused craft of barbering.
