A global resource accessible to all marketing employees across Nike's worldwide network, this platform will serve as a central hub for training material, current events, and essential resources across all of Nike.
CHALLENGE
Nike aimed to create a new logo and visual identity that equally represents all three brands (Nike, Converse, Jordan), balancing their distinct identities within a cohesive mark. The challenge was to develop a logo that is both simple, versatile and adaptable across digital and physical platforms. This design needed to embody a universal language that transcends regional differences while remaining culturally sensitive and respectful.
APPROACH
When building the new mark, I used a circular form in the logo to evoke the image of a globe, representing the worldwide reach of Nike’s marketing network and the unity of its global team. The mark integrates the logos of each brand, balancing their individual identities while creating a design that’s simple, versatile, and adaptable for use across various digital and physical platforms.
The main visual element features circular lines inspired by track lanes, symbolizing movement, energy, and the path to excellence that all three brands share.
